Full Description
By installing the GreenKeeper Desiccants (GKD) Gel Desiccant Strip into your shipping container or trailer, you can easily prevent moisture from leaking in and causing irreversible damage to your valuable cargo. This is especially useful when working in an environment that features a higher humidity or when dealing with particularly fragile loads.
Featuring a high-absorption speed and long-lasting durability, this strip allows you to cover a wider area, protecting multiple loads lined up within the container. Able to prevent moisture-related problems, such as caking powder, mould, rust, fungus, damp, mildew, wobble packaging, etc., from causing damage to your cargo, these strips are an essential tool to protect your loads.
The GKD strip is environmentally friendly with non-toxic materials. The strip contains 60% Calcium Chloride (CaCl2) (CAS:10043-52-4) and features Tyvek® and laminated (PE-PP) plastic protected or with a perforated external sheath which can be made of polyethylene (PE) or cardboard (Pole). The CaCl2 is very hygroscopic and will collect water molecules from the air.
The strip is easy to install and can be hung anywhere within the trailer. If the bag remains undamaged, it can be used repeatedly for up to about 90 days, depending on the type of cargo, type of packaging, transport time, weather conditions, air volume, etc. If the bag is punctured, it can be recycled.
The GKD Desiccant Strips are DMF free and RoHS-compliant and REACH-compliant. They’re approved for use in products from organic agriculture.
